iPad Keyboard Dock not shipping until May 2010

Apple may not have experienced the iPad delay some analysts predicted, but it seems their accessory supply chain is falling short.  Several of the company’s own add-ons for the iPad – including the iPad Keyboard Dock – are not expected to begin shipping until a month after the WiFi iPad itself.

At launch, the iPad Keyboard Dock was listed as shipping in mid-April; that has now been amended to May.  Meanwhile the spare iPad power adapter will also only begin shipping in May, having previously been expected in late-April.

The official Apple iPad Case has also slipped its estimate, from “by April 3rd” to mid-April.  Both the iPad Dock and iPad to VGA convertor are still on track – at least for the moment – for an April 3rd launch.

Its funny how the iphone 5 will come out in several months and the white iphone 4 isn't released yet. Apple keeps on delaying the white iphone 4 but who knows if their even going to ever release it.
