The alterations to Apple’s servers have begun, as the launch for their tablet device nears. This time around, we’ve got subtle tweaks and adjustments to their iWorks.com Beta service. It’s been altered in such a way that makes it easy for sharing information, as well as making it easier to navigate while you’re browsing the content on your iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad.

While the entire alteration is to make it easier for iPad owners to share their documents with large groups, social media website, and the like, it’s also specifically tailored to the site itself, as well. Meaning, instead of using something like Google Docs to share your documents, Apple has made it possible for you to make a public URL that will guide people to your document online. This URL can be placed anywhere you want, so it’s completely up to you what you share, and who you share it with.

Additionally, users can now download documents shared on iWork.com without actually having to leave the Shared Documents page. A simple tweak, but one that makes the user experience all that much better. And lastly, the entirety of the User Interface has gone over a bit of a makeover. We understand that this is, again, to get ready for the launch of the iPad, but we have to admit that it should have been done either way. It looks great now, for the record. Are you a user of iWork.com? If so, are you happy with the changes?
