Everyone is a fan of the iPad’s pricing here in the States. Considering the huge rumors floating around prior to the official announcement, where prices were getting pretty lofty ($1,000 and up), it was a huge relief to watch as the price bracket appeared on the screen, and $499 was the starting price. Yes, the highest model will cost you $830, but that’s still not $1,000. And while that’s all well and great for people buying Apple’s tablet locally, we’ve been having to wait and see what the price will be across the pond. And it looks like, thanks to a tip given to Geeky Gadgets, the UK might have just got a glimpse of what to expect.

While the source is going unnamed, and obviously the information itself is not confirmed by any official outlets, here’s what we have so far: £389 for the 16GB WiFi; £439 for the 32GB WiFi; and £489 for the 64GB WiFi version. So, again, just an unconfirmed tip at this point, but at least it’s better than nothing. You’ll obviously notice that there’s no line on what the WiFi+3G models will cost, which is a slight bummer. Also, worth noting, the tip suggests that the WiFi models won’t be launching in March in the UK, but rather April.

However, we realize that this is a bit high, too. As it stands, the 16GB WiFi model here in the States is running $499. £389 is the equivalent to $594.89, so we realize there’s a bit of a price jump here. If these prices turn out to be legitimate, we’re something along the lines of shipping, or some international-based reason will come up in regards to the differences in pricing. Then again, these are rumors, so don’t be taking them as the gospel quite yet. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as something changes.

  2. Yeah, it does. But unfortunately that's generally the case for prices over the pond.

  5. Hello, and otherwise: onion just before the cutting insert in the freezer helps, great!? vob to dvd burner The Beatles in iTunes is definitely a big deal and certainly welcome, but "another day that I'll never forget"? Not so much. Apple has themselves to blame for the overhype, not the media. "Another day that you'll never forget" may be true for a select few mega Beatles fans, but certainly not for the vast majority of people. They could have gone with something like "a day we've long awaited". But in the end, Apple is right C I will never forget this day because it was way overhyped by Apple, even by their own standards.

I'm all in the first with iPhone, rest assured that res. convert mp4 to mp3 I like all features, but as I already said I think quick reply for SMS would have a built-in function, cool stuff like IMessage and everything is just not groundbreaking appear for an IOS device, I do not have the difference between message and App message, and kiosk is a great feature? that just seems very stupid as it could fit with iBooks, it makes sense, it is so
  7.
