Even amidst all this talk about the iPad not being the hot ticket everyone thought it would be, it looks like at least several hundred people are interested in developing for the future tablet. That’s right. According to Flurry, the analytics company that watches over applications, and their development, for Apple’s App Store and other sources, they’ve seen the single highest spike in application development since they started, you know, analyzing applications.

As you can see from the image, they aren’t exaggerating. The increase in development since the release of the iPad SDK is phenomenal to say the least. And while we’d love to say that that increase means there will be a flood of new applications to the App Store for the launch of the iPad, we’d be willing to bet that the majority of those developers are tweaking current-gen apps to work perfectly for the larger screen. We expect there to be plenty of new apps, but also quite a few “oldie-but-goodies.”

This shouldn’t really surprise anyone, even if you just think about the developer standpoint. This is a new platform, and one they all assume is going to be a smash hit, like the iPhone and iPod Touch. They want to cash in on it. And Apple’s ace in the hole was a simple one: making the iPad’s OS match the iPhone’s. That way developers know exactly what they’re doing, and can push out the apps (with Apple’s approval, of course) without the need to jump over any extra obstacles. And don’t forget: when the iPad launches, the App Store is going to promote the iPad-specific applications right at the front. You won’t be able to miss them.

  1. man im trying to hold off.....
but the apps are gonna get me....
and yes Evan i mean Monopoly
  2. Haha Seriously, Monopoly is going to be what gets us. Something so simple, yet it's going to be fantastic.

I personally can't wait to see what developers create. I'm excited.
  3. The site is set out in a familiar American style using the US flag as
background. It is a member of the online casinos that belong to PlayTech
which are known to be of a very high quality. The site contains colorful
graphics and is easy to navigate. It also contains a slightly uncommon
feature that allows players to resize their gaming window to suit their
screen. This additional and innovative feature helps to make the software
that this site uses far superior to many other sites.

The highest jackpot ever won on USA casino was over $645,000 which is quite
substantial. The average payout percentages at usacasino.com is 97.6%, with
the highest being video poker which pays out at 98.37% and the lowest being
roulette which pays out at 96.82%. USA casino only offers tournaments which
are run for VIP players - regular customers are not invited to participate
in these tournaments. The stakes on USA casino vary tremendously and this
makes it very convenient for players of all levels and financial
circumstances. Stakes range from one penny to $300 in the card games,
depending on the game. In the slot machines, a player can place a wager of
up to $1000 on the "A Night Out" slot machine.

  4. I have about 5 pages of apps. I dont like folders so much I like how the Icons look. Some devs spend lots of time perfecting the Icon and for me to just throw it in a folder. I have maybe 3 folders avi to dvd mac I've always had this occur. I don't get many emails or text messages, but it's annoying the few times it does happens and I'm on a call. I usually have my phone set to make a tone for emails and texts, so if I'm on a call, the person on the other end can usually hear it too. I think it's meant to be this way, but I hope Apple implements an option to turn it off while on a call.
  5. ios 5 must catch up too bad ... Applications are already in 2010, are custom SMS ringtones something I custom on my V3i, applications, SMS was introduced in 2006 had, and still they are at the top ... 6. It definitely is a brilliant marketing strategy. My company pays $10,000+ to exhibit at trade shows to reach 100 or so prospective customers. TJ Maxx got ridiculous publicity and advertising all over the country for $8,000.If Steve Jobs wants to get upset about it, that's his problem. TJ Maxx has every right to buy a product through legitimate channels and sell it for a loss. It's their choice. Let's face it, it's not like they were ever going to become an authorized reseller for Apple products anyway. iphone music backup Not sure how you can fake a video. lol.drunk on the apple koolaid? No star screws on the bottom? I'm going with not an Apple product. If you can't figure that out, you should NOT be jailbreaking then.
  7. No no no. The improvement from the 3G to the 3GS will be the biggest relative change in CPU performance that you'll ever see. Bank on it. The 3GS had a 2x real-world performance improvement for basically all CPU ops over the 3G.You will never see that level of CPU performance improvement again. Never. The current transition from 1 GHz level Cortex-A8 devices to 1 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 will be pretty big too, but relatively, it won't be as big as the change from 400 MHz ARM11 devices to 600 MHz Cortex-A8 devices. convert m4v to avi Hoping this fixed the photo upload bug. Anyone on here have that? It tells you to save the photo and try uploading later, but "later" never comes. I always have to delete the app and redownload it to get it working, but it only works for a day or two before it stops uploading my photos again.
