We’re sure glad that sales for Apple’s iPad are going great for the company. In fact, we’re ecstatic about it. But, with one look at this, and we’re already going to say that this has gone way too far. This obviously isn’t the first gadget to be covered in diamonds, but the sheer fact that the size of the iPad, along with the potential to catch the eye of every single thief on the block, makes this just about the worst decision in the entire universe.

It’s covered with 11.43 carats of diamonds, VS2/SI1 in clarity, and has a grade G/H in color. We’re sure all of that sounds great to people who know diamonds, and perhaps to the rich people out there that might actually be looking at this thing to buy it, but to us, that’s just a bunch of gibberish. After all, this is ridiculous. Yes, we said it. Ridiculous.

  1. I couldn't agree more.
  2. I agree with Eric. Those on Team Pure should at least be warned in the headlines that the tip is for jail breakers. Even a designation of "JB" in the title would help. convert dvd to iphone What I'm wondering is if it's those few simple modifications, why would it take so long to begin production? For Apple, all those improvements could literally take an afternoon on the phone.
